The Lutron Maestro Dual Circuit Dual-Tech Motion Sensor Switch combines two switches with ultrasonic waves and passive infrared (PIR) technology to ensure reliable automatic sensing. Each circuit can be controlled independently as an occupancy/partial-on sensor to meet energy codes (e.g., ASHRAE). This Dual Circuit Dual-Tech motion sensor controls 2 individual single pole circuits each rated for up to 6A of lighting or 4.4A (1/6HP) fan motors. The sensor has a 180-degree field of view (900 sq ft major motion & 400 sq ft minor motion coverage) and is covered with a tamper resistant lens. It can be used to meet many of the Title 20/24, ASHRAE 90.1, and IECC code requirements such as automatic shutoff and multi-level lighting control. This Lutron Maestro Dual Circuit and Dual-Tech Motion Sensor features Dual Sensing Technology (PIR and ultrasonic) which detects very fine motion, such as typing at a desk or reading, ensuring lights do not turn off inadvertently. Lutron Maestro Sensors have an adjustable timeout (1, 5, 15 or 30 minutes), to control how long the lights stay on after leaving the room. Lutrons, patent pending, adaptive zero-cross switching algorithm extends and maximizes the relays life by switching at the point of minimum energy on the AC power curve. Its also equipped with smart ambient light detection (ALD), allowing you to customize your sensor to detect daylight, so lights don't turn on when there is enough natural light in the room. Easy to read programming buttons are directly on the sensor switch. Includes multiple settings such as, timeout, sensitivity, and programmable circuit swapping eliminating the need to rewire the sensor after installing. Available in 10+ colors. Pairs perfectly with Lutron Claro wall plates for consistent color matching (sold separately).
