This product is part of the XC Standard range, an offer of limit switches. The limit switch is a device that converts a mechanical motion into an electrical control signal. It has 1 normally closed + 1 normally opened, form A, snap action contacts with positive opening operation. It is a safety switch with a rated operational current of 3A at 240V AC, 0.27A at 250V AC and a conventional enclosed thermal current of 10A. It is furnished with screw clamp terminals for electrical connection and 1 cable entry tapped for M20 x 1.5 cable gland. It is an IP66, IP67 and IK05 rated product. It has a spring return thermoplastic roller lever, supports lateral approach in 1 or 2 programmable directions. It offers mechanical durability of about 20 million operating cycles, electrical durability of about 5 million operating cycles. This rotary head limit switch has a fixed type body which is made of plastic. Its dimensions are 40mm (width) x 60mm (depth) x 130mm (height) and weighs 0.16kg. It is intended for all industrial machine application such as packaging, materials handling, conveying, machining, food and beverage, service sector, etc. This product is certified by UL, CSA and CCC. It complies with UL 508, IEC 60947-5-1, IEC 60204-1, EN 60947-5-1, EN 60204-1, CSA C22.2 No 14 and CENELEC EN 50041 standards. European standard products (EN 50047) have positive opening contacts, even in snap action versions which allow use in safety applications. Limit switch with monolithic plastic version is dedicated to repetitive machines. The IEC limit switch offers a positive opening on all snap and slow-break contacts, for safer machinery. Switch is available with modular design for easier maintenance.
