The HMI application licence is part of EcoStructure Automation Expert runtime licensing. It is an optional runtime licence for Linux required to deploy an application to Automation Expert HMI. The license includes both Automation Expert HMI and Automation Expert Archive runtime rights. The natively integrated IEC 61499 HMI requires minimal engineering effort while providing exceptional flexibility and agility in deployment. It is a lightweight Linux based object orientated HMI with drag and drop engineering, transparent network communications and auto remote start. EcoStruxure Automation Expert is a new category of software defined automation, enabling next generation integrated architectures and Industry 4.0 solutions. One license is needed per HMI runtime instance.
