UT horizontal ganged meter sockets are for single phase systems up to 600 VAC. These main lug units can be from 2 through 6 meter positions. Units can be with or with a horn or lever bypass and be fed from the end or the center. This horizontal ganged meter socket has five meter positions without bypass. Each socket position has a 4 jaw socket without jaw release. The main is rated at 500 A. The branches have a 200 A rating. This unit can be feed from an overhead or underground service. This unit has a NEMA 3R surface mounting enclosure that is 14.12 inches tall, 54.75 inches wide and 5.38 inches deep. The main lugs will accept one 1/0 AWG to 500 kcmil or with two 1/0 AWG to 350 kcmil copper or aluminum wire. The branch lugs will accept 8 AWG to 250 kcmil copper or aluminum wire. This horizontal ganged meter socket device is UL Listed.
