Potential Transformers

Potential transformers (PT) are used to transform voltages from higher to lower values, safely stepping down the voltage to a level that can be easily measured. These devices are primarily used for safety/protection and evaluation purposes in power systems. They are manufactured to meet a wide range of use cases and are often classified by their voltage conversions (ex. a 480 to 120 potential transformer).
