Ballast lamps equate to fluorescent, mercury vapor, sodium vapor and quartz loads and will operate at a maximum of 600V. Filament lamps equate to incandescent, infrared, sodium iodine and heating loads and will operate at a maximum of 480V. Resistance heating equates to radiant and convection heating, furnace and oven loads.
